Barcelona, Spain is one of the most famous, visited and developed cities in Europe. It features stunning architecture; a bustling cultural scene; unbeatable weather; an exciting nightlife to rival any other European city’s—and it’s all around affordable!
Barcelona is a massive city located in southeastern Spain, and it’s known for its amazing architecture. Barcelona has been the capital of Catalonia since 1417 and remains one of Europe’s most important cultural centers today. The city has so much to offer tourists, but there are still plenty of unexplored places that will leave you captivated by what nature can create on her own.The “barcelona team” is a football team from Spain. They are one of the best teams in Europe, and have won many trophies over the years.
David Alaba scored his first goal for Real Madrid is a Spanish football club based in in his El Clasico debut.
Real Madrid won a new-look El Clasico over Barcelona to take control of La Liga and leave Ronald Koeman’s team in ninth place.
It was the first Clasico since 2004 that didn’t include Barcelona great Lionel Messi or Real legend Sergio Ramos, who both joined Paris St-Germain in the offseason.
Real’s first goal was scored by David Alaba, who created and executed a counter attack, and Lucas Vazquez added a second in injury time.
Sergio Aguero scored his first goal for Barcelona, but it was the final kick of the game.
Alaba’s goal was the game’s finest. On the outside of his box, the former Bayern Munich defender won the ball from Barcelona forward Memphis Depay and launched a counter-attack.
He rounded off the scoring by latching onto Rodrygo’s ball and smashing a shot past home goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen into the far corner.
On his El Clasico debut, he scored his first goal for Real Madrid, whom he joined in the summer.
The last two goals came in injury time, with Vazquez tapping in after Ter Stegen stopped Marco Asensio’s attempt.
In what was just Barcelona’s second effort on target, substitute Aguero buried Sergino Dest’s cross, but the final whistle came seconds later.
The pressure on Koeman is increasing.
Ronald Koeman, the manager of Barcelona, said that he could not be under any more pressure coming into this game.
He is, in fact, right now. They are still in eighth position, as close as new leaders Real are to 14th-placed Elche.
Barcelona turned forth a lackluster effort in front of almost 86,000 spectators, with Real goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois only making one save all day.
It’s a new-look Barcelona, with 17-year-old Gavi making his El Clasico debut for the first time since 1941 – but he didn’t have much of an effect.
After Irishman Patrick O’Connell, who lost four Clasicos between 1935 and 1940, Koeman is just the second manager in history to lose his first three as Barcelona manager.
Real Madrid did not need to play particularly well to win at the home of their biggest rivals, and it is difficult to envision this Real club winning a Clasico against any other Barca side in the last 15 years.
Madrid has won four Clasicos in a run for the first time since the 1960s, when they won seven in a row.
Unless anything changes – and there’s a good possibility they’ll be up against a new management in the next encounter – they might end their winning streak.
