At the NFL Annual Meeting, Los Angeles Rams running back Eric Dickerson expressed his belief that the team’s offseason trade of linebacker Alec Ogletree makes them “the most definitely” favorite to win Super Bowl LIII.
The “los angeles rams” is a professional American football team based in Los Angeles, California. The Rams have been around since 1946 and have won two NFL championships.
This past summer, the Los Angeles Rams made the game-changing decision to trade Jared Goff to the Detroit Lions in exchange for Matthew Stafford, and it’s already paying off with a 7-1 record. Eric Dickerson, who wasn’t a Goff believer to begin with, feels the Rams have eliminated the one factor preventing them from achieving their full potential, and they are now the team to beat in the NFL.

Dickerson spent his first four NFL seasons with the Rams, leading the league in running in three of them. He’s a die-hard LA supporter who hasn’t changed his mind in over 30 years.
The Hall of Fame rushing back recently talked with Cameron DaSilva of Rams Wire about his previous squad, and he simply said that firing Goff and replacing him with Stafford was the best move they could have made to unleash this high-powered offense.
“I believe (Sean) McVay is capable of running the offense he’s wanted to run since he arrived,” Dickerson said. “Three years ago, I stated that.” ‘I’m telling you,’ I said, despite the fact that it was unpopular at the time. And, no offense to Jared Goff, but he isn’t the man. For McVay’s offense, he isn’t the right fit. McVay couldn’t say it, but I could, and I was still chastised for it. I’m not a quarterback, but I’m aware of what I saw. If only we had a quarterback who could run his offense, I remarked. And I suppose he’s got him now that he doesn’t have to hold his hand anymore.”
The Rams are eighth in the NFL in both scores per game (30.6) and yards per game behind Stafford (405.9). Not only that, but for the first time in his 13-year career, Stafford is a real MVP contender.
This is already shaping up to be a big victory for both teams.
The Rams, according to Dickerson, are “absolutely” the team to beat in the NFL.

November 6, 2021 — Rams Wire (@TheRamsWire)
The Rams recently made a big statement by acquiring Von Miller from the Denver Broncos at the trade deadline, and they’re now perhaps the most complete club in the NFL (if they weren’t previously). Dickerson feels Miller’s arrival makes the Rams much more dangerous, but he always felt they were the team to beat.
He told Rams Wire, “Most sure.” “Even before Von Miller, I believe we were one of the teams to beat.” Is this, however, a benefit? Definitely, since I believe it will be better for Von as well. He doesn’t have to play the role of the hero all of the time. I know what it’s like to be the man who gets all the attention and is the target of everyone’s game plan. They can’t simply game plan for him anymore because Raheem Morris runs a fantastic defense.”
Dickerson also said that McVay informed him over the summer that this is one of the greatest squads he’s ever had, and it’s difficult not to agree.
The Rams may go down in history with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers created NFL history last season when they became the first club to win a Super Bowl in their own stadium. This season, the Rams have a chance to join them in the record books, since Super Bowl 56 will be staged at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
We can’t think of a better team to hold up the Lombardi Trophy inside the $5 billion stadium, and we can’t think of a better team to hold up the Lombardi Trophy inside.
